Ephemeral Echoes; Temporary Art
Ephemeral Echoes: Temporary Art Installation
Concept: "Ephemeral Echoes" is an evocative exploration of the transient nature of memory and time through a series of installations that interact with their environment. Every installation will be personal-an invitation for the viewer to contemplate instants in time that are easily lost but powerfully present.

Natural Materials: Those that change/degrade over time, such as sand, ice, or leaves.
Sound: Ambient recordings or sounds that fade or evolve through the time the installation exists.
Light: Utilize projections that morph and change to establish an ever-evolving visual atmosphere.
Installation Elements:
Sand Mandala: Extra-large, very detailed mandala, created with colored sand, reflecting the beauty of creation and impermanence. At the close of the exhibition, the mandala will be cleared away.
Source : https://www.deviantart.com/Ice Sculptures: Sculptures that melt throughout the day, symbolizing how time passes. In melting, they form shallow puddles to reflect how memories fade.
Sound Wall of Interaction: A sensor wall where touching it anywhere would start one of many varied sounds, allowing every visitor to create his own soundscapes. With every interaction, echoes of previously heard sounds are left behind, slowly fading into one single collective memory.
Source : https://www.deviantart.com/Projected Imagery: Images or videos projected onto a natural surface that change through the day, simulating a change of light and time.
Source : https://open.spotify.com/Wind-Activated Kites: Wind is then used to activate kites that will dance in the air as a reflection of the momentary nature. Changes in wind change the direction that the kites fly in, symbolizing how even our own memories can be affected by elements outside of our personal control.

Due to the subjective nature of memories, and how they define our perception, each person visiting will have a different experience.
